Annie CHAZOTTES:

September - October 2019

Annie CHAZOTTES was born in Lille. Trained in the Beaux-Arts, she started in a textile workshop in Paris. Then she created wallpaper collections for France or internationally. She is currently designing for the Japanese market.

Passionate about the region, she has represented a lot the Burgundy countryside while integrating concepts observed in other places where she has worked.

For this exhibition, she uses mixed techniques, combining acrylic, ink and collage.

Édouard de GANAY:

July - August 2019

A photographer by passion, a born contemplative, I never cease to marvel at what nature and history leave us at hand, as long as we take the time to watch.

Burgundian and traveler at heart, I strive to reveal my emotions that emerge when I contemplate the nature that surrounds me, wherever it is.

I therefore offer you here some pictures, taken here or there, which continue to inspire me over the years.

Anne BALTHAZAR:

June 8 - July 6, 2019

After a double professional career in teaching literature and then in the economy domain, the time has come to live.

As far as I can remember, to me, living was to paint.

It was to play with colors.

I live therefore I paint.

From vibrations to vibrations, in lowercase, in uppercase, the world imposes itself.

There is no question of escaping it, but of crystallizing its brutalities and beauties.

Two years of real life, work, mourning and happiness to dive into oneself and elsewhere.

Jean-Louis TRUJILLO:

March-April 2019

Jean Louis TRUJILLO began with sculpting and painted his first canvases during adolescence.

But he made the choice to be an actor and after training at the Athenaeum Theater or at the Picolo Teatro in Milan, he became an intermittent actor during the 1970s.

In the 80s: training in building trades, work for food in a large Parisian bank then a design school in Paris.

90s: new project: he trained in the Rudolf Steiner teaching method, a pedagogy that uses artistic and manual practices as mediations for school learning. He then worked as a Specialized Educator with people in difficulty.

Since 2012, drawing from these different experiences, he dedicated himself to painting in his studio within the Tonnerois.

TRUSCAN:

January 12 - March 7, 2019

In October 2017, I found the best watercolor paper in an attic: a 800g !!

With 3 brushes and a few tubes of gouache, I started to "paint" feminine looks.

Then I changed direction and got more attached to the texture than to the subject.

Quite naturally, while still working on the material, I introduced subjects.

Then, I reworked some of my first paintings coating them with this material. The faces of the beginning have become obscured. But I haven't done any image collage.

Technique, I have none. I have too much fun discovering some along almost every job.

Here is the summary of a belated first year of a joyful discovery.

I don't know where I'm going and so much the better, but I run to it, because the time...
